My wife and I first came to Sarasota in 1985 for a three week vacation at a condo near Beneva Road and US 41. At that time, Clark Road was a sleepy two-lane, and the deserted Siesta Key public beach was a short drive away. To us, this was "Paradise" and the tropical climate and leisurely life never wore off! We vacationed here at least once a year, eventually renting a beachfront condo, and some years, we never left the island.
We made the permanent move in 2012 and even today, we wake up every morning thankful that, after all these years, we're finally here, finally home!
